a. Update on Jackie Robinson Community Garden (103 East 122nd Street on Park Avenue). Gardeners meeting with Kenneth Williams, GreenThumb Outreach Coordinator, October 31, 2015 (5).
b. As requested by the Committee, a meeting with Dr. Raymond Gonzales, CB11’s appointee to the Randall’s Island Park Alliance (15).
c. Update on the actions taken to construct a “letter of support” for the electronic scoreboard to be erected in Lincoln Park (135th Street and Fifth Avenue) granted to Russel Schuler, Founder/CEO of Youth Education Through Sports (YES). The full board voted on September 20, 2015 to issue a letter. Numerous phone calls to the Manhattan Parks Department dating back to July 8, 2015 have failed to clarify exactly what requirements Mr. Schuler and his 501(c)(3) are required to comply with (10).
d. Clarification on the future status of the “letter of authorization” granted to Prentis “Sonny” Gibbs II by the Parks Department for the non-exclusive use of the southeast corner of East 135th Street and Fifth Avenue for the operation of a community chess program with ancillary sale of flowers to support the program. The existing letter dated October 21, 2014 expired on October 31, 2015, see attachment (10).

a. Thank you to the Odyssey House 2015 NYC Marathon 19th mile water station volunteers under the direction of Janice Slaughter. Once again, our community volunteers worked hours to make the 19th mile station remarkable for their hard work and service to the runners.
